Commuting to Chester by Public Transport

Chester Business Park is served by two bus routes, providing up to five buses per hour from and to Chester city centre and rail station, plus links to Wrexham and Mold:

1 Chester – Wrexham
This service runs every 15 minutes in each direction, getting to Chester railway station in around 15 minutes and Wrexham bus station in around 30 minutes.

X4 Chester – Mold
This service runs every hour in each direction via Broughton retail park, Hawarden and Buckley.

By Rail

Chester railway station is on the Wirral Line of the Merseyrail network, with trains to Liverpool via Birkenhead every 15 minutes.

Transport for Wales run services to Liverpool via Runcorn every hour, as well as hourly services to Holyhead, Bangor, Llandudno, Wrexham General, Cardiff, Birmingham International, Manchester Airport, Warrington and Shrewsbury.

Northern run hourly services to Manchester via Northwich and Stockport, and an hourly service to Leeds via Warrington, Manchester and Bradford.

For travelling further afield, Avanti West Coast run an hourly service to London Euston via Crewe and Stafford.

Chester rail station can be reached in 15-20 minutes by bus from the Business Park. If you are starting or ending your journey by bus, then make sure to add PlusBus to your ticket, which gives you all-day travel around Chester for just £2.50, on top of your rail fare. You can even add it to your season tickets.
