To plan your cycling route, we recommend trying a few different journey planners to ensure various options are covered – Google Maps and cyclestreets.net are both great places to start.
The Bank has dedicated storage for 10 bikes on site. If you don’t want to bring your own though, you can always make use of the Beryl bike share scheme in Belfast. Just outside the office is a 14-bike dock, handily situated on the segregated cycle network that covers the city. Buy a bundle and you can ride for as little as 4p per minute!
Cycling brings Grand Central within just 10 minutes of City Quays, and if you live within the boundary then it is a great way to beat the traffic – especially if you choose one of the e-bikes for an extra boost.

The bank’s Cycle to Work scheme is a Government-backed, tax-free benefit that lets employees choose a bike and accessories (up to £3,000 in value) through the Flagscape MyBenefits portal, hire them for 12 months, and then purchase the bike outright for a small fraction of its original cost.
